Zavar Partridges And The Kid

Our story goes on, in a mountain village north of Afghanistan called Chahardeh. At the top of the Hindu Kush mountains, in a small village, we witness Afghan traditions through the lives of Zavar in his 60s. and his 9 year old nephew Razak. Like many Afghan’s kids, Razak lost his father in civil war. His greatest strength is his uncle Zavar. Zavar, known for his fondness for Partridge and hunting in the village, teaches his younger nephew Razak to hunt for Partridge and how to grow it, so that he can take the first step towards manhood.
