What Remains Is Mermanat

The story of those who remain after those who left... After crossing steep mountains, you arrive in a typical Black Sea village called Mermanat 40 kilometers away from Rize. This is one of the vicinities in the region that most locals have left due to scarcity of agricultural land. Three different life stories stand out from among those who remain after those who have left. Bahri is 9 years old. He lives in Mermanat with his older sister Damla, his mother and his father. His family and the 80-something Aunt Nokta are the only ones who spend the winter in the village.
