Vefa Sultan

Musluhiddin Mustafa, a young and brilliant scholar, believes that he can grasp the truth with reason alone, not realizing that his knowledge is overshadowed by arrogance. His fate changes when he hijacks a caravan traveling from Edirne to Constantinople. With the desire to find the truth, Mustafa reaches Sheikh Abdüllatif Kuddisi in Bursa and learns to discipline his ego by working in a tannery, but is tested by his impatience. While his journey brings him into contact with important figures such as Majzup Malik, Celaleddin and Belinay, his captivity by the Crusader Knights in Rhodes allows him to discover the true meaning of patience and submission. Upon his liberation, Mustafa arrives in Constantinople and, with the support of Mehmed the Conqueror, transforms the neighborhood of Vefâ into a home of knowledge and wisdom, realizing that the true conquest is the conquest of hearts. This sage, now known as Vefâ Sultan, becomes one of the spiritual architects of the Ottoman Empire.
