Once Upon a Time in Istanbul

Set in the dark and chaotic atmosphere of 1990s Istanbul, Once Upon a Time in Istanbul follows Ali, a principled literature student, and Seher, an idealistic journalism student, who meet during a university debate. Studying in different faculties at the same university, they are drawn to each other through their shared passion for justice. Raised by his resilient mother after losing his father to violence, Ali refuses to turn a blind eye to the corruption consuming his city. Seher, unaware of the criminal ties within her own family, finds herself captivated by Ali’s unwavering sense of right and wrong. As their love deepens, they become entangled in the ruthless power struggle between rival mafia leaders, Kenan and Külhan. With each obstacle, they grow stronger, determined to stand against fear and oppression. In a city where power silences many, their love becomes both a refuge and a rebellion, proving that courage can ignite change.
