Once Upon A Time In Cyprus

Lost lives, love stories that are torn apart, and a struggle for existence. Going about their merry lives in the pastoral landscape of an island located in the south of Türkiye in 1963, Dereli Family, members of which are gum merchants, becomes the target of a terrorist organization in a bloody attack. Like others, members of Dereli Family have also torn apart. The head of the Dereli family, Kemal Dereli (Ahmet Kural) and his little daughter Mine all of a sudden become the leader of everyone while they try to migrate with other families. People who do not want to leave the land where they were born and grew up are shattered because of the persecution they witnessed. Ankaralı (Serkan Cayoglu), who is quite intelligent and fearless, is sent to the island for an undercover mission to intervene. The story of Ankaralı who becomes a mysterious hero on the island and of his fiancé with whom he falls apart, along with their love, longing and struggle to live are intertwined with Dereli Family’s storyline. The Dereli Family and Ankaralı take on a challenging mission and put up a good fight to protect the homeland.
